PersonalizeWord is a program that lets you re-enter the name and organization fields that show up in the window displayed during Microsoft Word's startup.
****What Versions of Microsoft Word Will it Work On?****
PersonalizeWord works on Microsoft Word versions 4.x, 5.x, and 6.x. PersonalizeWord has been tested on the following versions of Microsoft Word: 4.0, 5.0, 5.0a, 5.1, 5.1a, and 6.0.
****How Do I Use PersonalizeWord?****
Simply launch (i.e., double-click) PersonalizeWord and use it to locate your copy of Microsoft Word. If you are running System 7.0 or later, you can just drag your copy of Word onto PersonalizeWord . PersonalizeWord will then display a dialog similar to the one used when you first installed your copy of Microsoft Word. You can then enter anything you want into the name and organization fields (Word 4.x only lets you enter your name). The next time you start Microsoft Word, the new names will appear in the startup window.
****What System Software Does it Work Under?****
PersonalizeWord works under both System 6 and System 7. It has been tested with the following System versions: 6.0, 6.0.5, 6.0.7, 7.0.1, 7.1, and 7.5.
****What Machines Does it Work On?****
PersonalizeWord should work on any Macintosh. PersonalizeWord has been tested on the following machines: Mac SE30, II, IICI, LCII, Powerbook 180, PowerPC 6100/60, Quadra 610, and Quadra 950.
